Insomnia Wednesday : Sleep Deprivation Humor

The things we think about a 1:30 in the morning:

There’s a story (that goes something like this) about a man walking along the beach where thousands of starfish are stranded.  The poor little creatures are helplessly waiting for high tide to return.  He picks one up and throws it into the water — then another and another.  A passerby says, “There are millions on this beach. Throwing a few back into the water isn’t going to matter.”

He picks up another star fish, throws it into the water and says, “It matters to that one.“

Well, a thorough 5 minute internet search proves that Starfish aren’t as helpless as we’ve been led to believe.  They’ll eventually make it back to the water if you aim your camera at them long enough.
