When you live in the country, abandoned dogs and cats find you. Over the past 25 years, four footed companions have lived and passed on knowing they were loved. At present, we have six dogs and three cats.
But none were like Daisy.
If the dog world had an IQ test, the results might show a mutt with enough brain power to put one foot in front of the other.
What made Daisy outstanding in a field of other dogs?
The day she decided I was her human, she never left my side. She possessed a galaxy of love.
Love this! Oh, I just tried to send you an email, regarding a curious email that I received…. Z’up?

Spot on. How fortunate, we who have had a Daisy in our lives.

Thanks. 🙂
We just had a new one follow us home from the corner of the paved road. Took her to the vet, gave them a picture, the whole 9 yards. She is the sweetest, most well-behaved doggie I’ve had here and she’s about 2. I can’t imagine there isn’t someone missing her. She fit in like she’d lived here all her life and loves sleeping next to me.

Another lucky dog in the nest. It is appalling though that there are these abandoned and neglected animals.

The worst of it is the dog fighting rings that infest our woods. We have a fence to keep dogs in and people out. There are dog fighting rings and people trolling for bait dogs. That, in itself, is another post.

A galaxy of love for a dog who loved the sci-fi writer.

She’d snore on my bed as I wrote. No question in her mind that she was loved.

I’ve had those busy weeks — the ones where breathing was the only thing in my control. 🙂

Usually it’s 4 hours then 2 or 3. Once, I actually slept for 7 straight hours. That was the best!

4 hours is great, I usually sleep 5 hrs and later it’s annoying night until morning. 2 or 3 hours is so bad, and problem is it comes at day time when we have some serious task to do🙄 Sigh… Don’t take any med for that.. Try to keep the eyes closed 😉 Have a peaceful night Joelle ✨🤗

She was a strange dog, but once you were “her human,” you were loved for life. 🙂
