No. 2 speaks to me most. I’ve recently noticed that many people actually don’t put their seats back even on long-haul flights. Or they do, but minimally. I was pleasantly surprised. Since it happened to me for the first time in more than a decade, I’m still not sure if it was real or just a dream.
What’s been bothering me is the middle seater. Yes, fine, have both armrests. BUT, keep your arms parallel to the armrest. I don’t need your elbows invading my space. Same with your legs. Spread them within your seat’s limits.

When I was on an airplane years ago, I was almost 5’5 and weighed 110. The leg room was cramped even for me! Also, I had to ensure the arm rest was down when a large person sat next to me. At one point I had to tell an insistent woman that I payed for my seat and she wasn’t entitled to half of it.

My blood boils and I get very aggressive with the armrest. If I’m OK with you having 2 and yet you have the decency to take up half my seat space with your arm, I will put my elbow in the fight and overtake your armrest whenever I get a moment. Take the win, or lose it all.

Ha! This is so true! Home repairs can be a nightmare, flying crunch-class is an experience to be endured, and the place where most of us end up is usually determined by our choices and circumstances. Great post!
