Thankless Thursday Sarcasm: Yet another unsatisfying conversation with GUE

ME:   I’m up at 6 in the morning and I’m pissed!

GUE: Why?

ME:   I was watching a sci-fi series and people were invading one country to get away from another. They tried to make it look like that was okay.

GUE: What is your goal?

ME:  To write books.

GUE: Did you know there are no politics within the word “book”?

ME:   The world is in a mess. We’re on the brink of WWIII.   How many times have we destroyed ourselves and bounced back again from the edges?

GUE: I believe that would be 8 times.

ME:  Why do we keep doing the same thing over again, expecting a different result?

GUE: Earth is purgatory, where haunted souls work out their issues.  You weren’t meant to join a galactic glee club.

ME:   So I should concentrate on my books and forget about the end of another civilization?  What good would that do?

GUE: Why are you writing books?

ME:   If I don’t, I keep having the same dream over and over again.

GUE: It’s your soul’s way of growing.

ME:   Some days, I wonder why I insist on talking to myself.

GUE: You are a part of God.

ME:   And this part of God is ready to write.

GUE: When are you going to start writing?

ME: (with a smile):  I just did.
