<_><_><_>
A humorous entry, based on the fact that I wake up every morning with 6 dogs wanting to be petted.
<_><_><_>
In the distance, a thunderclap,
then rain bounces from my window.
A shatter of light! Crescendo!
Four-footed critters want my lap,
their paws my face and body slap.
Over I go, onto the floor,
“Get off of me!” I do implore.
I’m covered head to foot with dogs,
that feel more like one hundred logs.
If this is love, I don’t want more.
Haha. I loved it! I would love to have a bit of that love 😍

Thanks. 😊 They can be challenging at times, but they’re worth every moment of it. Never have they greeted me with less than enthusiasm when I arrive home from work.

That’s the best kind of welcome to receive when you get home. ❣️

Exactly! What are their names?

I don’t give out their real names — they might file a class action lawsuit. 😊

I was looking at all those dogs on the bed and said, “Why not?” 😊 I’m happy to know that the humor came through.
