R-Evolution
Spinning…spinning, our world ignores
the creatures living upon it,
considered sparks of light unfit
a patient Earth simply endures.

A meteor again restores
the outer shell of sea and land
fire sculptures with heavy hand
celestial monuments to chance
beginning yet another dance
to Darwin’s universal band.
