USA: Thanksgiving plans
For Thanksgiving, I’m planning on making a turkey, dressing, and sweet potatoes. That reminds me; it’s time to put the cranberry sauce in the fridge…and take the turkey out of the freezer.
Here are a few important things to remember about this holiday season:
- Empty the litter box so that your cat doesn’t do this…
2. If you’re traveling to Grandma’s house, try to avoid the interstate highways.
3. Never use a cookbook you found in the library’s humor section.
Those are my tips for this holiday season:
- Having rice with Thanksgiving dinner is a sacrilege punishable by cat poop.
- Driving the interstate system in Florida is like watching a low-budget movie called Mad Max meets Die Hard.
- If you live in Florida and can’t cook, buy the ready-made feast from Publix.
For all of those who don’t heed this advice, I wish you a very merry Franksgiving and a happy new beer.
Ha ha 🤓😂 I loved this post. Memes have simply changed my mood from one post to another 🤓 and Mommy Needs Vodka 😂Love it 😍 I heed this advice 🤓😎 Happy Thanksgiving in Advance 💐

Publix would definitely be my option if we had Publix here. 🙂 I assume our grocery stores are doing the same thing. We may do White Castle. Not the stuffing, the sliders.

The last time we had Thanksgiving dinner with part of the family was 5 years ago. We all went to Golden Corral. It wasn’t the best, but not everyone likes turkey, so it worked out well.
I’ve gotten pre-cooked turkey dinners twice. Once from another grocery store and once from Publix. Thankfully, the time I tried it with the other grocery store, it didn’t really matter that the meal was barely edible. But the one from Publix a few years later, when we had a 3-generation family dinner, was terrific.

We decided on a ham this year instead of turkey. Nobody really wanted turkey! Good luck with your cooking and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.
“Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year because it reminds us to give thanks and to count our blessings. Suddenly, so many things become so little when we realize how blessed and lucky we are.”

I looked at your blog and have to say that I never thought about the differences between Asian and Western cultures in regards to people working from home. There may be people reading my blog who might want to stop over and say hello. 🙂
