Home office cats
I have a home office.
I can hear what you’re thinking! “Ho Hum, I thought this was going to be a funny post.”
Presently, there’s a black cat in front of the computer screen licking his rear with one foot in the air.
That one thankless act of loathing the hand that feeds him perfectly describes my day.
Do you know he’s psychic?
He can feel it when I aim a camera at him. That’s why I rarely get a good picture. He has mastered the art of jumping away just before the camera clicks.
<–This picture was made possible by cat pride.
Both the 20 pound coon cat and the 8 pound black cat wanted to be in exactly the same place at the same time. The 8 pound black cat happened to be small enough to fit into the space that was left over and, camera be d@#%ed, he wasn’t going to budge.
I have two offices:
- One of them is in an actual office building.
- The other is in my home.
There’s this virus going around, (code name: pandemic) and anyone who can work from home is not allowed to be in the building.
That gives me more time to look up stuff like
- What’s the best way to kill someone?
- How long does it take someone to die from blood loss and how painful is it?
- Whatever happened to Twiggy?
On one hand, I’m saying, “This is great! Writing without guilt!”
On the other hand, there will be more cat fights over the space in front of my computer during the next 2 weeks.
As a reminder. This…
…generally leads to this:
Other Brother Coon Cat (The Hulk) and Tiny Terror (The Flash) stare at each other first.
Then the paws start flying. Unfortunately, they have a knack for missing their target and impaling the computer screen — or the human trying to push them apart.
I’m thankful for a job I can complete at home.
I’m thankful for more writing time.
Cat fights, I can do without.
You must have been facing a lot of cat fights 😉 But it’s great that you can work from home, here there are people can work from home, but still commutes 30 kms and sit inside a cabin alone and says customer satisfaction is our pride, and feels damn when I realize he never met a customer, If google is a person, I would search, how to get a corona for my boss? 😀 😀 😀 Lovely Post, Enjoyed it 😉 ✨🤗 Have a beautiful day Joelle ✨

Unfortunately, COVID-19 will hit India, too, at some point. Some people have mild symptoms, others die. Here’s a real-time compilation of the number of cases and deaths. https://ncov2019.live/data

A tiny bit of humor in my morning. Thank you. Cats are always funny. Mine have had a couple spats lately. It’s a new thing that I hope doesn’t become a problem.

They seem to go from funny to claws flailing faster than a Corvette can go from 0 to 60.

I’ve witnessed a few if those incidents in my own home lately. It’s so weird. Makes me feel better to know other cats that share a home cam be the same way.

I too just broke up an impending fight between our two cats. I wish they would get along but there’s only so much you can do.

A few years ago, I had a hard time doing anything on the computer when my 2 cats were in the room. They liked to sit on the keyboard, or sit on the desk and block the monitor so I couldn’t see anything. AND the male cat loved the sound of the printer so much, that he would rush in and try to yank the paper out of it before it finished printing. It is nice to have help, but…..
But you know what? I kind of miss all of that. It made working at the computer more of a challenge. Now that my cats are older, they are not as interested in

Your cats are too cute!
I had to make a printer cover out of a cardboard box so that they would stop jumping on top of the printer.
