Cat found
Yep. Cat found.
All it took was dad calling him for the 100th time.
He’s presently licking his paw on top of my mail after devouring half a can of tuna.
Nope…now he’s pushing the mail off my desk and onto the floor.
Good kitty.

It started thundering and now I can’t find him — but I know he’s still around. 🙂

Ours don’t like thunderstorms either :O
And that reminds me that I need to send you a valerian toy! I’ll sort that later today. Totally forgot. 😱

With moving on top of it all, I can imagine it’s been a rough year so far.

Sadly so. Loads of unexpected troubles with the house move! The whole lot could fill an entire blog of its own and it’s still not completely over. 🤣

Unless you’re having a corporate move, or rich enough to afford packers to come in and movers, moving is almost worse than death.
After moving no less than 12 times in my life, when I moved to my present home 26 years ago, I announced (quite loudly) “The next time I move, it’ll be to Forest Lawn.” (The cemetery where my 2nd husband was buried).
Then there are the problems with any home you move into that the seller passed on to the buyer. And neighbors! It’s usually the neighborhood gossip who comes to your door first.

Oh yes we have found problems the seller didn’t declare that sadly are quite important including one that’s a legal requirement so in a bit of a battle as they lied… neighbours gossip has been helpful tho. 🤣

That was one of the reasons that moving was difficult — the fact that sellers will often avoid telling about problems in the hopes that the problems won’t show until it is too late for the buyer to do anything about it.

I wish there was better protection for those things. 😦

Glad he’s OK

He ate half the tuna, so I know he’s not going to starve. It started to thunder, and he’s now hiding but I know he’s inside and not on a tree limb somewhere in the rain.

Good that he’s safe.

Mission accomplished – everyone was worried and now everyone is all over him.
You shouldn’t have added that he was pushing the mail off the table. Give him at least a day once you discover him before you (or the dogs) hurt his feelings again.

When he pushed the mail off, all I could do was hug him and tell him I was glad he was back. The only thing that hurt his feelings last night was the thunder and lightning. I found him hiding in my closet next to the dehumidifier.

Glad I was behind on my blog visiting–OBCC was home before he was lost! Hope he doesn’t do that trick again of disappearing!

He likes all the petting he’s getting. This desk isn’t the same without him trying to destroy it. 🙂

Now he has a stuffy, runny nose — probably from being places he shouldn’t be for 2 days.
