Mental Snowstorms

LAZY MODERN ART: A Ghost in a snowstorm.
Perhaps one day
I’ll fade away
when there are no more
games to play,
when cats and dogs
have disappeared
and naught remains
to light my way.

Arctic foxes taking a nap in a snowstorn, as seen through a very boring window.
Perhaps one night
I’ll fail to write
when there are no more
dreams to fight,
or poetry becomes mundane…
…for when the mind
has failed to be
there is no creativity.
No “Black Cat in a Coal Bin at Midnight”?

No — it would have to have glowing greenish yellow eyes. 🙂

It came into my head, I laughed, and I wrote. 🙂
