“Aphrodite?” Hera asked, looking up at my date
“We met on GodSpace.”
“I heard that Celestial social site is soooo 20th eon!”
“Thor and I were made for each other,” I said with a bright smile. “He knows how to shake up my world!”
“He’s not one of us,” she whispered. “Norsemen worship him!”
“Best sex I’ve had in twelve centuries.”
“But will your love last?” Hera asked.
I held out my hands, forming a glittery arrow from nothingness, and hurled it toward her at the same time Zeus walked by.
Such fun, creating a match made in hell.

LOL! God of Thunder hooks up with the Goddess of love who make 2 of the most mis-matched dieties in history fall in love with each other just because she didn’t like Hera’s comment. 🙂

oooh – Gods at play. A delicious read. I like that quote about the stomach rolls… I don’t think anything was meant to be 100% perfect. Then everything’d be the same.

There was a time when that was considered perfection. It seems that the “perfect” figure during any given time period is the one that is hardest for a woman to obtain. If there’s an abundance of food, then Twiggy is the “ideal.”
