We need to…
Saw this and thought: I wished my parents had taught me how to tell the difference.
Then I remembered...the example had been playing out in front of me for much of their 43 year marriage.
I got the memo, I just didn’t read it.
True healing began the day I was able to say, “It’s my responsibility to read the memo.”

So true. It took me a while, but I have one such man.

My parents had that memo on the fridge, and I have memorized it by heart 😋
Have a great Merry Christmas!

Happy to hear that you had the memo presented to you in different ways. It helps instill the message.

I love this so much. And how lucky I am to be married to a man who is all those things, miraculously enough.

You are fortunate. Out of my 5 marriages, it was my 2nd husband and my present husband who most closely resembled it.
