Fractured Friday : Grandmas

.
A Sunday School Teacher was testing children in her class to see if they understood the concept of getting to heaven. One little girl, who had always shied away from her, brought her grandmother to class, holding onto the old lady as if the frail woman was a life buoy.
.
“If I sold my house and my car, had a big garage sale and gave all my money to the church, would that get me into heaven?”
.
“NO!” the children replied.
.
“If I cleaned the church every day, mowed the lawn, and kept everything tidy, would that get me into heaven?”
.
“NO!” they shouted.
.
“If I gave sweets to all the children, and loved my husband, would that get me into heaven?”
.
Again, they all answered. “NO!”
.
Bursting with pride for them, she asked her final question. “Then, how do I get into heaven?”
.
“What the hell kind of Sunday School teacher are you?” Grandma demanded. “Anyone with a brain knows you’ve got to die first.”
.
“Mom was right,” the little girl said, wide-eyed. “I have the brainless teacher from hell.”

Love it…

Or maybe not. “Grown up” seems to be an arbitrary line determined by how far that line is stuck up someone’s @$$ when they’ve taken it upon themselves to determine it.
