His
eyes are
highlighted
expressing love,
showing gratitude,
to the kindly lady
who opens the sacred can.
His slave for life ensures that he
will not starve on this, or any, day.
Her starry eyes return his affection.

My cats only come to see me when it’s feeding time. Other than that, they’re too busy to bother with their human slave. 🙂

Oh no, they love you ALL the time even if they’re busy. besides I’ve seen lots of photos of your cats hanging out with you while you write!

I love them regardless. That’s the thing about cats and dogs. As I’ve said many times, dogs teach us unconditional love, cats help us practice it. 🙂
