OKAY — I’m trying something new and don’t know what the H.E. double L I’m doing. These are the rules for the following particular kind of poem that someone must have made up when they were drunk on a boat looking at the sunset.
“Sidlak Poetry – is a structured poetry consisting of five lines with 3-5-7-9 syllables and a color. The last line must be a color that describes the whole poem or the feeling of the writer.”
When I die,
leaving Earth behind,
the moment of departure
as spirit forsakes nature’s cocoon,
my mind will smile at an azure peace.
you nailed it!
