Once, as a human
I crowed, “I’m greater than God!”
my fate to eat worms.
Is hell a place of torture,
or eternity’s lessons?

It took me a moment but I got it. That’s extremely clever.

A very philosophical response today. I think where we are right now is hell.

My father would agree with you. He used to say, “The only hell is the one here on Earth.”
My mother used to say, “Behind every cloud is a silver lining.”
Their marriage worked for 43 years, until his death, because they balanced each other out.
I suppose life here on Earth means different things to different people.

Hell and school do not have to be synonymous… but they often are.

A lesson of course, that we humans still refuse to learn 🙂

It’s like a disease to which no human is immune.
