Mom’s painted windows
filled a house with Christmas joy,
anticipation.
Home no longer looks the same,
pictures of her artwork lost.

My mom used to hand paint a nativity scene or the 3 wise men on our large picture window. We lived on an 8 lane highway and people would slow down to look at it. We had a tree with an old Lionel train track around it that my sister and I would play with. Now, all I have are the memories, no tree, no picture windows. But I have dogs and cats. 🙂

I say this because my mum is a Mad Quilter, would be good to transfer images into quilt form? Cheers,H
