There are certain words in the English language that I have never liked. One of them is “ebb.” It sounds like a name that a woman with a 200 word vocabulary would give her 20th child.
“Hey, Bart. This here’s Ebb. I just borned ’em.”
“Ya hain’t cleaned ’em off yet, Lulu. He still got the paste on ’em.”
“It’ll wear off in a few days.”
“Why you still naked ‘n bleedin’?”
“I dug a hole for’s it to run in, ‘long with my poop ‘n pee. I’ll throw that dirt in my garden a few weeks from now.”
“Good thinkin’!”
“Wait’ll you see what’s comin’ out next!”
That’s all I have in me for the day. I can’t say the same for Lula, whose bowel evacuation just asphyxiated everyone in her one-room shack.
Most unexpected 😀

I was on another computer at the time I wrote it, and the picture wouldn’t upload. It’s there now. 🙂
Strange, isn’t it. Having your own computer with you wherever you go is like taking along your home.

I don’t remember it being quite like that…but then I’d never have called a kid Ebb either 🙂

I know what you mean about Ebb being like one of those names you have the impression is a mishearing or misspelling of some random word someone liked the sound of. A mistake anyhow.

Well, I suppose there are places where life is this cheap and phew! But why Ebb, the ebb and flow is essential to life 😱
