Insomnia, part 30,493,825
At least it feels as if I’ve had insomnia that many times.
I should probably have a category for all of the 49 posts I’ve done on Insomnia, but I keep hoping I’ll never have it again.
That’s like hoping there will never be another hurricane, tornado or earthquake.
I know that insomnia makes one (me) want to eat oatmeal raisin bars (which I am gnawing on at this very moment). However, I didn’t know there was an….
With more memes than there are about toilets.
Insomnia even has a Nemesis….
Some of us are more fortunate than others…
I’ve spent the last 5 hours calculating how much sleep I was going to get, if only…
I’ve been listening to meditation music guaranteed to put 97% of people to sleep. When my mind gravitates toward thoughts of “the 3%”, Insomnia Club wasn’t quite what I had in mind.
I wonder — could I have fallen asleep just as quickly by listening to Metallica?
I suppose there IS a silver lining behind every ravenous thundercloud.
I did a little of this…
…and a little of that
It might be one thing if Insomnia was great in bed, but instead of being like this…

Of course, there has to be a reason for insomnia and sure ’nuff, someone has discovered it!

I used benedryl at one time, but it left me in a grog-fog all day that was worse than if I’d had no sleep. I have tried every herbal remedy available but will not use prescription meds — too many horror stories about them, both from medical studies and experiences of people I know.

Your membership is approved with flying colors — but no sheep. I tried counting sheep….that doesn’t work either. I’m terrible with math and have to start counting over again. 🙂

I live in the country. It’s treacherous to walk out here at night (the road isn’t exactly smooth). Rain doesn’t help, and insomnia doesn’t have an off switch. 🙂
