for a moments amusement,

It’s funny how they can be so domesticated in some ways and so wildly funny in others. 🙂

We’re more dog people, but cats are cool too. Thank you for the great post

We have 6 dogs and 3 cats. Both species are lovable in their own way. Did you see my white “puppy” attempting to hunt in the background?

Beagle? I had beagles for years. Love them, but my wife has Maltese. Cats in dogs bodies

It’s way in the background and I didn’t notice it until I was looking at the picture in a photo editor. It seemed to fit the pose so well.

Jamima’s favourite time to be in the backyard was dusk. Bugs were her sport!

Always cute to watch them try to catch bugs. Not so cute to watch them eat the bugs. 🙂

This is a great haiku and brings back memories of some farm cats that were also amazing hunters, and others that just wanted to play with a shrew that they didn’t really want to eat.

Mine used to bring them to me as gifts. A dead bird on the bed, a rat on the desk… I’m so happy that happens infrequently now.
