One Liner Wednesday : Demented
It’s been 2 years already. I’m still waiting for the edits on book 2 to be completed.
There are several reasons for this, beginning with the geographic distance between editor and writer, and life events that happened to both of us.
I don’t have an alternative for professional editing unless currency falls out of the sky. Well, that, and I happen to like my editor.
My only alternative is free editing.
Free editing comes with a price. I’d have to take 3 planes across country and expend the energy of Hercules to mercilessly nag my sister for 3 weeks.
A stellar editor who hates editing. It’s tragic, I tell you…just TRAGIC. 🙂

Not the best feeling. It’s not cheap and the editing process is painful at times.

If it helps any, I just bought your ebook. I don’t know when I’ll read it, but I miss science fiction and I need some laughs, so I hope I get to read it soon. Atto Run is your book, right?

If 1000 people bought the ebook, I could afford a plane ticket so that I could mercilessly torture my sister into editing. 🙂
Alma is one of the main characters in Atto Run and a lot of her dialogue is like today’s one-liner.
My daughter says the first part of Atto Run was slow for her, but once Alma and the “parasitic platypus” meet, she loved reading it. That’s what I love about my daughter — she says what she thinks. 🙂
