#amwriting Colleen’s Weekly #Tanka #Poetry Prompt Challenge #8 – THANKS & BEGINNINGS
My first attempt (about yesterday’s family gathering) didn’t have the words in it for Colleen’s challenge so I thought I’d write 2 tanka’s today instead. 🙂
The words below are for people who, like me, use text readers:
Beginning, ending
timelessly. Be thankful, for
sorrow follows joy.
Continuously nature
cycles, life springing anew.
I love the part about nature continuously cycling. There is so much out of our hands that sometimes all we can do is watch and let it happen, stand back, and then observe. Happy Thanksgiving my friend. ❤

Thanks. 🙂
I appreciate the joys (springtimes) when I can, and wait for the sorrows (winters) to pass.
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving, too. 🙂

I read another Tanka today that talked about autumn being the ending and winter leading to new beginnings. I love that you got your feelings in there. 😀
