We had a few days of warm weather, just to be hit with another cold spell. It’s much too easy to think that winter is over, but it just doesn’t seem to want to go away. ๐
My pleasure ๐ I’m an all season fan. It relieves my boredom.
I’ll be traveling frequently in the month of March. My children’s play is scheduled to begin production, and I’ll be rewriting awkward scenes as needed. Additionally, I have several other projects that are coming to fruition necessitating my attention. I’ll post this weekend explaining my absence from WordPress. I should return in April/May. I have your blog set in my tablet favorites and will continue to read each night. I won’t comment or like as if I go into my WordPress, I’m sure I will be distracted there too long lol. See you in Spring ๐ Laine
It’s excellent (1 hour from Daytona Beach, 1 hour from St. Augustine and a motel room near the river is half the cost of one in either of those 2 cities). I’ll introduce you to Corky Bell’s, the best place for fried catfish and hush puppies in the city. ๐
Sounds wonderful! I loved St. Augustine when I was there. Maybe I can make a short trip in the fall around labor day. As for now, I’m off to tutor. . . ๐
Lest we forget and become detached to early from our warmest ware…

I have daffodils, katkins, camellia and wild syclamen in the garden one hard frost and all will die

I’m not sure if I want to like the thought of all those flowers dying. Hope you don’t have another hard frost.

It isn’t looking good for the weekend, nothing beats mother nature that’s a fact.

I think that’s why the “B” word is used so often when talking about her. ๐

Well, you know I like winter. His touch cleanses my heart. Yet – just stopped in to say you wrote another killer haiku ๐

Thanks for the great (and greatly appreciated) compliment on my haiku. ๐
You are the winter to my summer, each a necessary season. You know that to me, anything under 70F is “winter.” ๐

Thanks for letting me know of your absence in advance. Do you think you’ll be moving away from Chicago to retire?

I’m not sure. Retirement is still a while down the road. I do want to travel (outside my imagination) one day.

Lol! It’s all good. I’d love to see the City of Murals. Sounds like a good place to share tea with a friend ๐
