He was perched on about 7 inches of printer stand for this picture. At the moment, he’s laying on a folded over moving blanket on his 1/2 of my office desk. đŸ™‚
He’s definitely is a sweetum’s – when he’s not stealing my turkey.
Haha. The worst my two stole was spicy chinese chicken. They both attacked from different sites of the plate before Oli run off and they went to share it… Needless to say they weren’t impressed with the spice of their prize!
I was about to ask what happened to them after the hot pepper soaked into the palate. Did they run for the water bowl?
My Errrr Dog likes to chase bees. He jumps at them and occasionally catches one. You can see the surprise in his eye when it stings hime. Then he chomps, swallows and goes after another one.
I do not profess to know the mind of that dog. đŸ™‚
It was rather sad and funny. Poor Oliver went running back and forth in the living room making funny prrt prrt noises. He didnt really get the idea of water to cool him down đŸ˜‰
Yet everytine i have spicy chinese chicken he is back for another kick! LOL (and he doesnt touch chicken apart from that)
Nubia on the other hand went straight for the fountain and filled up her belly LOL. She has enver again touched that chicken haha
Nothing like sleeping off the turkey-induced drowsiness.
Hubby pressure cooked a 16 pound turkey and I spent most of yesterday making turkey soup, turkey and gravy, and turkey and dressing. We have enough turkey breast for several meals, turkey salad, etc. You know where the skin, fat, and weird stuff went. đŸ™‚
Awe… My cat used to march around like a Clydesdale Horse on turkey day đŸ™‚ I still walk out and put a piece of turkey on his little grave on Thanksgiving.
That made me cry. Were I to put turkey on her grave, the other dogs would be stomping all over it to get to be the first one to tackle the turkey.
I remember my Vizxla mutt with her head on my foot when I was cooking. Occasionally, a piece of meat would “fall out of the sky” and she was on it! Isn’t it strange how the simple act of cooking brings back memories. đŸ™‚
Do you make an extra one for the four leggers? Or just an extra large. đŸ˜‰
