Discombobulation of Space
Once upon a time there was space
Then things started to accumulate.
It seemed somehow there was a race.
Without this stuff how could I rate?
Quicker than I could blink an eye
my space began to evaporate
and in a flurry of things to buy-
there’s no need to elaborate-
arriving home from a shopping trip
I discovered I have no place to sit!
It seems I have to get a grip,
and as for shopping – I have to quit!

You’ve revived one of my favorite words…words that are almost onomatopoeic. Another one is ‘bodacious’.

Thanks! I, too have an affinity for onomatopoetic words.
